Resistance work without a gym
Two or three short strength sessions a week is genuinely enough. A 3-minute lesson from the neo academy.
You don't need a gym membership or an hour a day. Two to three sessions of 15-20 minutes a week of resistance work is enough to tell your body: keep the muscle.
Bodyweight covers the essentials: sit-to-stands from a chair, wall or counter push-ups, step-ups on a stair, glute bridges, and carrying something heavy-ish around the house. Start where you are.
Progress by tiny steps: one more repetition than last time, a slightly lower chair, a fuller water jug. The signal your muscles need is 'a bit more than last time', not exhaustion.
Pair it with your walks: walk most days, resist two or three. Log workouts in the app so your weekly recap shows the pattern building.
The combination, daily protein target plus a little resistance, is the single most reliable way members keep their strength while the weight comes off.
2-3 short home sessions weekly. One more rep than last time is progress.
